Snap2Chat App

While BlackBerry awaits to see if the arrival of the official SnapChat app will ever come to the BlackBerry 10 platform, developers have been hard at work using the SnapChat API to build a native client. The first of these SnapChat apps is called, Snap2Chat, and looks to be a nice robust version even though it is still in beta at this point.

The native SnapChat client was created by developer Nemory Oliver, and currently sits at beta v0.5, which is set to expire by the year’s end. Based on the timeline, it looks like the developer plans on releasing a final version at the beginning of 2014.

Because the app is in beta, you’ll need to manually side-load the .BAR file onto your BlackBerry device. Find out how to side-load apps onto your BlackBerry. You can keep up on Snap2Chat via the developer’s Twitter page.
